Superbowl 43

Is everybody ready for the Superbowl? Or is everybody ready for the commercials, and half time show with Bruce Springsteen and the E street boys?
Well I am ready for the Commercials. LOL
They do have the best commercials. I am taking a vote for the best commercial. So at the end of the Superbowl comment me your pick.
As you can tell my team isn't in the Superbowl this year, well they didn't even make the playoffs.
Who do you want to win? Steelers or Cardinals? I guess that I would like to see the Cards win.
Maybe because I wasn't alive the last time they won. Well GO CARDS!!!

Ravenstahl To Steelerstahl

After the Mayor of Pittsburgh found out that they will be playing the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl wants now to be recognized as Mayor Luke Steelerstahl.
The Idea came from a caller on a local radio station. Ravenstahl thought that that was a great idea. Not telling his wife about it Ravenstahl went to the courthouse and got things going. He did everything except pay the 108 dollars for the processing fee.

Better Sooner Than Later?

Good news for the Oklahoma Sooners. No they didn't win the BCS Bowl. The news is that Sam Bradford the Heismen Trophy Award Winning Quarterback will stay at College for at least one more year. Bradford stated" After looking at all the information and opportunities, I feel that it's in the best interest for me to come back." I would say that it was because they lost the BCS Bowl game. I still think that Florida's Tebow should have recieved the Award.

Six Month Old Charge

In Fulton Co. Georgia the Prosecutors have just now filed two counts of battery against Denver Bronco's wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

Police stated Marshall had thrown his ex-girlfriend down on the bed, slapped her, and damaged her apartment.

This all happened on March 4th.

Why so long for them to file this?

Marshall stated that he had been waiting for the charges to be filed.

Marshall couldn't understand why it took so long.

On March 6th Marshall was arrested.

He posted a bond of 1000.00 dollars.

That was his third arrest in about a year.

There will not be any punishment for Marshall, seeings the NFL already knew about this prior to this season.

The Second Half Comebacks

The Indianapolis Colts faced off the Minnesota Vikings at the Humphrey Dome, Minnesota. The Colts needed a big win seeings they lost their season opener to Chicago, their 2006 Superbowl rivalry. So now they were dwelling for a win. The first quarter started off slow, with Manning throwing an interception and the Colts getting tumbled by the Vikings defense. Manning had gotten sacked two times in the first quarter. The Colts held the Vikings to just field goals throughout the whole game. The Vikings couldn't seem to be able to get in the end zone. At the end of the first half the Colts were held scoreless, that was the first time since the 2006 season. In the third quarter the Colts were down 15-0. So the colts had to buckle down and show what they were made of. So the colts pulled within 8 on Joseph Addai's one yard rushing touchdown with an added extra point. Then came the fourth quarter the score was tied up 15 - 15 with Reggie Wayne's 32 yard completion and the added extra two point muscled in by Dominic Rhodes. Then with 3 seconds left on the clock, Adam Vinatari hit a 47 yard field goal to win the game.

It's Official

Someone needs to go over the rules of football to these Pac-10 officials.
Illegal picks, fumble recovery's, flags.
They are the worst officials I have ever seen.
Did they have a blue light special when they gave the Pac-10 patches or what.
Yes, I am talking about the Ohio State game.
Let's start with the fumble recovery. When a team comes up with the ball on a fumble, it is usually the teams ball that has it.
I mean I am not an official, but i do know football.
Then the Illegal pick for a Touchdown?
USC got away with everything and anything.
Yes, Even illegal picks that the officials didn't see.
Holding?
Only when Ohio State makes a Touchdown.
Holding for USC? No call.
Maybe there shouldn't be any call for the Pac-10 officials next week.
Calm down or they will make you lose the game now. Remember last week?
Excessive celebrating. What kind of officials were there. Wait a minute. It was a Pac-10 official.
Theres my point.
